The Health and Safety of our employees and customers is a prime responsibility of our management. We will specifically:
- Incorporate Health, Safety and environmental factors into our business decisions
- Identify the Health, Safety and environmental hazards arising from our business and manage the associated risk
- Comply and where appropriate, improve on legislation requirements
- Continuously monitor and where possible improve our health safety and environmental performance
- Provide ongoing training and supervision to enable employees to work with due consideration for the health and safety of themselves, others and the environment
Make efficient use of resources to save energy, reduce waste, promote re-cycling and the use of re-cycled materials.
- Ensure the use of safe products throughout the company
- Make available appropriate resources to implement the policy
Current systems employed by Ultrasound Blinds:
- The Ultrasonic cleaning method employed by Ultrasound Blinds is energy efficient and reduces dramatically the need for use of cleaning chemicals
- All cleaning waste created by Ultrasound blinds is disposed of in accordance with the Environmental Protection Act 1990
The above are current areas in which Ultrasound Blinds is looking to improve. We are however continuously assessing and changing our methods to be more environmentally friendly.
